Ramón Roqueta Segalés, born in Manresa (Barcelona, Spain), is an agricultural engineer and wine professional with a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Barcelona and a degree in Oenology from the University of Montpellier. He further expanded his business expertise through MBA programs at the University of Navarra and Columbia University in New York. Following his studies, he gained international experience working at wineries in France, Australia, and the United States.
In 2007, Ramón joined the family-owned Roqueta Origen Group to lead the development of Celler LaFou in Terra Alta, a project dedicated to showcasing the unique character and potential of the region. He subsequently joined the group's management team, where he played a key role in driving innovation, strategic growth, and the development of new initiatives across the company's portfolio of wineries.
Since 2012, Ramón has served as Chief Executive Officer of Roqueta Origen Group, overseeing the continued expansion and modernization of the family business while maintaining its longstanding commitment to quality, sustainability, and regional identity. Under his leadership, the group has strengthened its presence in both domestic and international markets and expanded its portfolio through strategic investments, including the acquisition of Cavas Naveran in 2025.
Today, Ramón continues to guide Roqueta Origen's vision, combining generations of family winemaking heritage with a forward-looking approach focused on innovation, sustainability, and the authentic expression of Spain's diverse wine regions.
